Yes you read it right, this 10mb big download will install Microsoft Internet Explorer 7 beta 1 on your pc. Beware! You need a genuine Windows version. If your key is illegal or invalid it will not install!

I'm trying to run ie7 on french xp. Some say that you can alter the inf file, but I hqve hqd no success. Any ideas?

open the "update.inf" file, and change the "language type" in the 3rd line according to the lanugage of the OS installed. i don't know the french code, but use google to find out or try out numbers from 1 to 10. german e.g. has got language code 7. so the 3rd line has to look like that:

LanguageType = 7

then run the "update.exe". Now quickly change line 3 back so that there is the text

LanguageType = %LangTypeValue%

again. you only have about 5 to 10 seconds to change back this line otherwise the program will complain again about the update.inf file and exit.

I installed yesterday and uninstalled after 1 hour.Buggy man right from the get go i went to my site and when i clicked on a link that had flash it went crazy had to do a hard shut down on the computer,then uninstalled,stay away from this one

I HAVE INSTALLED INTERNET EXPLORER 7 ON MY COMPUTER..WELL IT IS WITH MANY GOOD NEW FFEATURES..BUT I M HAVING A PROBLEM..WHEN EVER I OPEN "YAHOO MAIL WEBSITE" AND LOFG IN TO MY ACCOUNT MESSAGE CAME THAT UR BROWSER DIDNT SUPPORT YAHOO MAIL INTALL INTER EPLORER 5 OR ABOVE OR OPERA.. I WANT TO KNOW THAT IS ANYONE ELSE ARE ALSO GETTING THIS MESSAGES.
