Get the salt ready for this
far eastern info but it seems like the green cat is out of the bag and by this metaphor we mean the specifications of the upcoming GeForce 9800 GX2 are now revealed. We already know that the card will have two PCBs, 1GB of GDDR3 memory, a 256-bit memory interface and two G92 chips but the fun part comes only now.
The 600 MHz-set GPU is (said) to have 128 Stream Processors clocked at 1500 MHz while the memory is clocked at 2000 MHz. These should help the GeForce 9800 GX2 beat the Radeon HD 3870 X2 but will also bring higher power requirements and a hefty price tag. The ETA for the GeForce 9800 GX2 is March 11.
