
After enough of a delay Nvidia has now finally launched its first Hybrid SLI-enabling chipset for Intel platforms, the nForce 730i. Coming in two flavors, with either GeForce 9300 or 9400 integrated graphics, the chipset provide support for Intel LGA775 CPUs with a FSB of up to 1333 MHz and dual-channel DDR2-1066 / DDR3-1333 memory, six SATA 3.0 Gbps ports (RAID 0, 1, 0+1, 5-ready), one PCI-Express 2.0 x16 port, up to 12 USB ports, Gigabit Ethernet, 7.1 channel audio and DVI, HDMI and DisplayPort connectivity.
Both featuring DirectX 10 and GeForce Boost support, the GeForce 9300 and 9400 have 16 Stream Processors clocked at 1200 MHz and 1400 MHz respectively and GPU frequencies of 450 MHz and 580 MHz respectively.
