Cerulean Studios has recently released the second Trillian Astra build since making the IM software available in a public beta stage. The 110 build comes to fix a couple of Contact list bugs and, more importantly, includes a patch for the relatively infamous
Twitpocalypse, an issue that has affected a few other tweet apps.
The Twitpocalypse is caused by the unique identifier of every tweet - a number which has last week passed 2,147,483,6471, creating problems for third-party apps that weren't coded to handle such a case. Luckily, fixes have been provided quite quickly so the Twitpocalypse is not the end of the 140 characters-or less virtual world.
