Japanese cooling specialist Scythe has now announced the second coming of the Zipang. Seen below, the Zipang 2 CPU cooler measures 145 x 149 x 106 mm, weights 715 grams and features a M.A.P.S. (Multiple Airflow Pass-Through Structure) heatsink, a nickle-plated copper base, six 6mm heatsinks and a 140mm Kaze Maru fan which works at 1000 RPM and has a sound output of just under 23 dBA.

The Zipang 2 is compatible with Intel Socket 478, LGA 775, LGA 1366, and AMD Socket 754, 939, 940, AM2, AM2+, AM3 processors, and is priced at $58 / 39 Euro (without VAT). For more info on the second-generation Zipang check out Scythe's website.
