Closing in fast, AMD's more affordable DirectX 11 graphics cards, the Radeon HD 5750 and HD 5770 have started to appear in stores (on pre-order but still) to give us a better idea of what we should expect.

According to Mindfactory.de, PowerColor's all-stock Radeon HD 5750 and HD 5770 will cost about 120 and 150 Euro, respectively and feature 800 Stream Processors, a 128-bit memory interface, 1GB of GDDR5 memory clocked at 4600 MHz, a dual-slot cooler, CrossFireX support, plus dual DVI, HDMI and DisplayPort connectivity. The main difference between the two cards seems to be the GPU frequency which is set to 700 MHz for the HD 5750 and 850 MHz for the HD 5770.

With the introduction of the Radeon HD 5700 series, the Radeon HD 4870 and HD 4890 should start waving goodbye and go ahead with their retirement plans.
